An unbeatable value for the archery enthusiast or clubs alike repairing multiple targets. This case kit is the equivalent of 8 Individual Kits.

  • Outlast OEM by 2x
  • Self Healing
  • Easy arrow pull
  • Repair 5-10 targets*
  • Made in the USA

This kit contains (2) Part B, (1) Part A and Instructions. 30 lbs of material which will repair multiple targets depending on repair size.

*Example: a McKenzie Elk vital that has the large 8 ring gone on both sides (meaning you have to cut it all out clean through) may use half a case 15 lbs (3DTRF cost: $150 vs Replacement cost: $455) That is for a very large repair, smaller areas or targets not shot completely through will use much less.

• Serrated Knife - for removing old material and trimming new foam.

• Plastic Sheeting - for creating forms around target and scoring ring template.

• Staple Gun - for attaching forms to target.

• High Speed Drill - for mixer attachment

• Paint Mixer for Drill - for mixing parts A+B.

• Gram Scale (Case Kit only) - for measuring A+B ratio.

• Mixing Container - for mixing in and pouring parts A+B.

• Safety Glasses / Disposable Gloves

      Recommended Tools (Optional)

      • Reciprocating Saw - for easy foam trimming and removal.

      • Rotary Tool (Dremel) - to recreate scoring rings.

      • 3M Scotch-Brite Pad - used with drill for easy shaping of target after repair (or use an orbital sander with very low grit paper)

      • Moisture Meter - to make sure targets are dry.

      • Needle Nose Pliers - for pulling staples.

      • Cardboard & Duct Tape - to back plastic (only for very large pours).

      • Paint Stir Sticks - helps scrape foam from mixing container into target.

What tools do I need to have for repairs?

A serrated knife, plastic sheeting, staple gun, drill, mixing container and a gram scale if using Case Kit. CLICK HERE for a detailed list and other recommended tools.

How many targets can a Case Kit repair?

This all depends on the size of repair. You can expect to get at the minimum 5 medium/large deer vitals repaired on both sides. If smaller targets or one side repairs (not shot all the way through) you could see 7 to 10+ targets repaired.

          Repair foam is awesome!

I used it to repair several centers of whitetail target bales, by removing only the center windings in the core and then filling it with this 3D material. It absolutely stops arrows with ease. Since the end result is for target archery and not a 3D animal target, the setup was a little different (wanting a flat, finished surface instead of something that could be carved up with a rotary cutter). For that, it would be great if there was a weight-to-volume calculator; for example, if using X grams of total liquid weight (Part A + B) would result in Y cubic inches of foam after expansion and set. I think I calculate this to be 5 grams of total weight to 1 cubic inch of expanded foam volume. Anyway, I highly recommend this stuff for fixing either 3D targets or target bales!

Great for Club Repairs and Individual Repairs Alike!

I have purchased this kit twice in the last few years to do repairs for the Southern Alberta Bowhunters Association's outdoor archery range targets. Once you get a feel for how much to mix and pour, this is very easy to use. Does a LOT of target repairs. Easy to cut and shape with a few tools (angle grinder with a chain disc followed by a flap disc sander makes shaping a breeze). A new coat of paint makes the targets look brand new again. Extends the life of our targets another 3-4 years easily, saving us money instead of having to buy new targets as often. Highly recommend this repair foam for any job, big or small.
